Attorney Lauren Thomas concentrates her practice at Denner Pellegrino, LLP in both civil and criminal litigation. Attorney Thomas tries to resolve cases prior to trial where possible, but will take any case to trial to protect the rights of her clients. Prior to her association with the Firm, she worked as an independent attorney assisting on a variety of criminal cases from narcotics trafficking to homicide.

Her experience as an intern with the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Massachusetts as well as her work with the New England Innocence Project create the basis for her vigilance in client defense.

Attorney Thomas received her juris doctor from New England School of Law where she was a member of the honors fraternity, Phi Delta Phi. Lauren served as the student representative on the Faculty Appointments Committee and also as a Mentor through the Student Bar Association’s Mentorship Program. Lauren was an active member of the NESL branch of the American Civil Liberties Union, serving as its Chair for two years.

Attorney Thomas has a special interest in history and works closely with the Oak Creek Historical Society and the Women’s Relief Corps. to investigate and research allegations of negligence towards the graves of Civil War veterans. Where negligence is found, applications are made to obtain government sponsored headstones, which are then dedicated through a formal ceremony.

Attorney Thomas has been admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in the United States District Court of Massachusetts.
